I PERSONALLY CHALLENGE MANAGEMENT

Teamstaff Management:

You insist that the workplace environment at CMOP Murfreesboro is safe.  We insist that it isn't.   There is something that can be done by management to prove, without a reasonable doubt, whether it is, or isn't.

SIMPLY VOLUNTARILY SUBMIT TO A NIOSH HEALTH HAZARD EVALUATION (HHE), form OMB No. 0920-0260. 

At no cost, NIOSH environmental teams will come to the worksite and evaluate the safety of the operation.  The HHE form can be found on the NIOSH website and may be filled out and faxed in to them at 513-841-4488.  They will make a site inspection, collect data, interview employees, analyze their findings and present their report online for all to see.  If they conclude that there are no safety or health hazards in the workplace AS IT EXISTS TODAY, then we are satisfied.  We will abide by the NIOSH findings and our issue will be over.

This is a simple solution to our quest.  We hereby challenge Management to voluntarily submit to this study to show the employees their willingness to provide a healthy environment at work, as mandated by OSHA.  There is really only one reason management wouldn't accept this challenge.  And that is, that you fear the environment IS in fact, unsafe and unhealthy.

All that needs to be done, is to respond in the affirmative here, as a comment below, for all of us to see, your intention to finally put this issue to rest.  You may email a completed, signed photocopy of the HHE form to me at:  mstriplewillows@aol.com    after you have faxed it to NIOSH.  I will call NIOSH to confirm their reciept of your request.  At that point, we will simply wait for the results.

The longer we see there is no acceptance of this challenge in the comments below, the more we will understand that you have no sincere intention to improve the situation voluntarily.
